Anne Clayton is the founder and owner of Anne Clayton Financial Strategies. As a Certified Wealth Strategist®, Anne focuses on forming deep and meaningful relationships, measuring success against the client’s goals rather than arbitrary market benchmarks. She follows a holistic approach that takes into account the client’s entire financial picture to help connect their goals with a concrete plan to achieve them.
Anne got her start in the financial industry through banking, where she learned the loan process and helped get a new bank branch off the ground. While in banking, Anne discovered that many families in rural communities don’t have easy access to professional financial advice. To fill that service gap, she took a leap of faith and switched careers in 2004.
Determined to succeed, Anne leaned on the relationships she developed during her banking career as well as her “outside the box” thinking to build her financial services practice one client at a time. She runs her practice by treating people the way she likes to be treated, a lesson she learned early in life from her father.
In 2010, Anne became an independent professional to broaden the pool of products and services she is able to provide. As an independent professional, Anne is not an employee of an investment or financial services firm. She is an independent business owner and has the freedom to structure her business in a manner that best serves her investing clients.
Anne and her husband, Matt have two sons, Blake and Bryce. They enjoy raising and showing sheep as a family.
